As a part of its long running and good-intentioned ‘Real Beauty’ campaign and its movement to enhance self-esteem in women across the world, Unilever’s Dove has come up with an innovative concept for its new Facebook Application.
The application makes it possible for users to choose feel-good messages and the target audience they want to direct it to. Dove uses these fan entries to outbid ads that promote a negative body image among women on Facebook – essentially putting the power in the hands of users to ‘makeover’ undesirable ads.
The campaign has already garnered great reviews since it launched a month back. You might not be able to try out the application from an India IP, but you can check out the video below to see what the application is about.
