Procter and Gamble launched a good-intentioned global campaign ‘Proud Sponsor of Moms’ earlier this year for its entire portfolio of products, in the run up to Olympics. P&G is a global sponsor for the event and is committed to Olympics sponsorship till 2020.
The campaign theme is to recognize the contribution Moms make in raising their children, by sharing uplifting stories of sacrifices & unconditional support of Moms of Olympians.
The brand page also has multiple applications that have been launched over the last few months to keep the 900k+ fans active and engaged.
Thank You Mom Creator Application is a great platform for P&G fans to thank their mothers for their unwavering support and love. It has an amazingly seamless and quick interface which just flows. Very easy to use with clear directions.
My Mom and Me application is similar in format but different thematically where fans can upload pictures with their mothers and share memories.
The latest addition is ‘Raising an Olympian’ which is a series of poignant, well put together videos stories of Olympians and what it took for their mothers to bring them up and stand by them through their successes and failures. These videos are up on the P&G Global Youtube Brand Channel which has one of the best layout and presentation that I have seen. Users can choose to post their Thank You messages to their Moms via copy, images, videos and all updated entries keep scrolling on the page in conversation blurbs.
