Youtube Brand Channel: Shoot & Win on Chevrolet Tube

Chevrolet India has built an interesting Channel in partnership with Youtube that they call ‘Chevrolet Tube’.

The landing page of the channel currently promotes the Chevrolet ‘Shoot & Win’ contest. The page hosts a Shutterbug game where visitors need to click a Chevy that races across the page through a static camera. I thought this was a fun intro to the contest.

The ‘Shoot & Win’ contest invites people to submit their videos or animations with their favourite Chevrolet moment. The promo content is exhaustive. It gives out details on how to go about uploading videos, shares tips for participants and also provides Chevrolet brand resources like logos, imagery and audio to help users create their material. This has been really well thought out.

The contest, that closes today, announces weekly winners and there are some big prizes to be won including an I-Pad, I-Phone and a Nikon DSLR.  

Creatively the channel is a great execution, the page is well arranged and the vertical scrolling animation between pages is seamless and adds to the user experience. Do you agree?

The channel is being promoted via display banners across publishers.
